While not a Real Housewives star himself, Jeff Lewis still has a lot to say about what’s going on in the franchises.
During an appearance on The Wendy Wiliams Show on June 10 with host Michael Rapaport, the former ‘Flipping Out’ star shared his thoughts on the upcoming season of ‘Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip,’ even revealing which wife he’d like to see return to brought to their respective show.
“I love a Bluestone Manor, everything at Bluestone Manor,” Lewis said of what he’s looking forward to in RHUGT Season 2. “I know a lot of these ladies, like Tamra and Vicki and Jill and Dorinda. I even like Brandi [Glanville]we had our days, you know, we had our arguments.
“She’s fantastic,” Rapaport replied of Glanville. “Because it doesn’t just stir the drink, it’s a great TV.”
“And so Kelly Dodd is like I’d love to see Kelly Dodd come back to OC or do an Ultimate Housewives trip,” Lewis said.
The second season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is slated to premiere June 23 on NBC’s streaming platform, Peacock. The new season will feature many former Real Housewives stars from the various franchises such as Tamra Judge and Jill Zarin and was filmed over the course of a few days at Dorinda Medley’s home in the Berkshires.
This isn’t the first time Lewis has offered his opinions on various “Real Housewives” stars, most notably Heather Dubrow. In recent years, the two have been in a major feud, and he hasn’t shied away from doubling down on his thoughts on the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star in 2022 as well.
“Look, I’ve said this before, I personally don’t like Heather Dubrow, but I think the OC needed a villain,” Lewis said during a December 2021 appearance on Watch What Happens Live. “I think she’s Orange County’s Cruella de Vil, are you kidding me?”
Later in the episodeLewis was answering a question from a fan who asked him if he thinks he could ever mend his relationship with the ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star, to whom he said no possibility.
“Heather Dubrow will never happen,” Lewis stated. “Vicki [Gunvalson] is a good person. It’s not Heather Dubrow. Just because I’ve seen the way she treated people, I’ll never forget her, I’ll never forgive her.”
After Dodd was fired after season 15 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, she appeared on Jeff Lewis’ radio show on SiriusXM to discuss her firing, explaining at the time that she was “taken aback” by it all be.
“I had no idea, I was blind,” Dodd said, explaining that she received a call from the production company to inform them of the decision.
Dodd continued: “Look, I ended up getting fired because of myself. I’m the one who fired me. I was like Howard Stern at WNBC. I got a call from the executives and Emily said, ‘Who are you?’ and I’m like, well they know me! I know you! But I caused them a lot of grief. I caused them a lot of trouble.”
