TikToker Jodie Melissa has shared simple tricks you can use when working remotely that can help you be more zen during those long Zoom meetings.

The wellness expert shared her tips in a TikTok clip titled, “Five tips to take care of your wellbeing when working from home.”

Jodie says the first and most important thing to do for your well-being is to make sure your desk or workspace is near a window.

This way you can maximize the daylight you get.

Another tip is to try to start the day with a fake commute.

A little walk or a coffee in the morning will help you start your working day off right.

Your mindset is clearly trivial to your overall well-being.

Instead of thinking “I have to work,” try thinking “I’m going to work” and appreciate that you’re lucky enough to be able to work remotely.

Another trick is to get ready for the day like you’re going to the office.

That could mean anything you would do for a work environment, like dress properly.
