LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: There are some films that make people cry and laugh and that touch the full spectrum of human emotions, and then there are those that end up being front-runners at the Razzie Awards. Who knew there would be an awards show that would single-handedly hand out prizes for the year’s most terrifying film? The list for the 43rd Razzie Awards looks “promising” as Ana De Armas’ “Blonde” and Tom Hanks’ “Pinocchio” both receive nominations.

The Golden Raspberry Awards, or Razzies as they’re popularly known, began on March 31, 1981 and features a team of 1,000 members, a mix of cinephiles and a few film industry selects, who choose the films that win over audiences and the film industry disappointed the most. The winners will be announced on Saturday, March 11th, on the eve of the Oscars.
