The Chihuahua, who has been with the celebrity for 6 years, has been missing for five days
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Paris Hilton is offering a “huge prize” in exchange for the safe return of her beloved Chihuahua pet Diamond Baby. The socialite, 41, posted to Instagram on Monday expressing her devastation at the missing of Diamond Baby, a tiny, brown and black dog.
The reality personality released a lost dog announcement, saying the dog was last seen five days ago in the Mulholland Drive and Clarendon Road neighborhoods of Beverly Hills. “If you have any tips on Diamond Baby’s whereabouts or feel you have seen her – please reach out to the email address [email protected]”Amid her efforts to find the Chihuahua, Hilton promised that “there will be a great reward for her return and NO questions will be asked.”
The hotel heiress added: “Please please please email if you know ANYTHING and please keep an eye out for my baby.” She said the dog “is a little shy and will lie on his stomach if you try “to carry him”.
Hilton said it was “incredibly difficult” for her to post the message and explained the circumstances behind the dog’s disappearance. “I was at a photo shoot and we’re moving and one of the movers must have left a door open,” she said. “My family and friends have helped me search high and low throughout my neighborhood, going door to door, but we still haven’t found them.”
Hilton claimed she has hired an animal detective and is considering using drones, adding that she “does everything that’s in the game [her] Power to get her back.”
Hilton was open about her desperation, saying, “Anyone who has ever loved a pet and lost a pet will understand this pain I’m feeling — my heart is broken.” She added, “I was in tears, so sad and depressed. I feel like a part of me is missing and nothing is the same here without her. Diamond baby is my everything, really like a daughter to me. We were inseparable, she was my best friend and always by my side.”
To protect the dog and because “people can be cruel,” Hilton had been reluctant to bring the dog’s hunt to public attention. “I’m desperate and the more time goes by the further away I feel from the chances of getting them back,” she said.
Paris Hilton originally got the pet in 2016 and even took to Instagram to ask fans for name suggestions.
