Tony Iommi is currently promoting his latest book, Iron Man: My Journey through Heaven and Hell with Black Sabbath.

According to his Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne once painted “the blood of a shark” on the walls of a hotel room while on drugs. Ozzy has a history of drug and alcohol abuse that has severely affected his memory.

Tony, 74, made the reveal while promoting his latest book, Iron Man: My Journey through Heaven and Hell with Black Sabbath. “You always get bored with drugs, so you have to hurt each other. Like Ozzy dragging a shark through a window, dismembering it and drenching our room in blood,” Tony said, according to The Daily Star. Tony also claimed Ozzy, 73, who has battled drug and alcohol abuse in the past, allegedly begged Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward if he could “set him on fire” on a wild night. “Bill, can I light you?” Ozzy reportedly asked Bill. “Busy, so not yet,” shot back an unimpressed Bill. He apparently later added, “I’m going home now, so if you want, you can light me.” Later, as part of a wacky joke between the group, Ozzy “set Bill on fire” after Tony poured a bucket of alcohol over him had thrown.
