Announcing her reports to fans on Instagram, the presenter explained that she contracted the virus after being vaccinated and booster dosed

Mayim Bialik announced on June 19 in an Instagram video that she had tested positive for Covid-19. The danger!’ The presenter described how she feels physically and mentally in a seven-minute video. She shared: “Hey everyone. Not sure if this is clickbait or not but I have COVID and I just posted a video. Go to Bialik’s Breakdown. Follow us while you’re at it. I made a whole video about it… I hope everyone is doing well… Check out what I posted. Please? Maybe or not. Do what you want. I’ll drink this tea and take a nap.”

The 46-year-old actress is vaccinated and boosted as she stated in the post. Speaking on Mayim’s Instagram Live on ‘Bialik Breakdown’, she mentioned that she may have contracted the virus while travelling. She also said she has asthma and a thyroid condition, which has made symptoms and side effects worse. Speaking about how the coronavirus has affected her mental health, she said: “I have Covid and it’s no joke over here. I will say that something I kind of didn’t expect is that I have a new level of anxiety about going out. Part of me feels guilty that I went out. I’m sad and worried about the world again… I know the intensity will pass when I hopefully feel better, but right now it just feels like, “OK, I live in my house.”

Update on their well being

To manage her symptoms, the actress – whose 16-year-old son and eldest of two children are also battling the virus – has tried a number of things, which she shared saying, “I’ve got zinc and magnesium and immune stuff, D3 , that insane vitamin C that tastes really bad, but that means it’s good for you.” “You know what else weirdly works? Graham crackers and dark chocolate!” she joked. “I don’t know, after that I’ve been craving. I’m hoping it passes quickly… I’m trying to believe my body knows what to do. Please be careful as the tests vary so much… it just makes me really aware that so many of us maybe running around with negative rapids thinking we just had allergies or it’s just a cold and I think in a lot of cases that’s exactly what it is, it’s COVID… hope everyone stays safe. .. take care up.”

After hearing about her diagnosis, fans reached out to her in the comments section. One commented: “Sorry you have COVID. Hopefully it will be mild and short-lived. Wishing you healing thoughts.” Another wrote, “Feel better soon! Rest as much as you can! ❤️❤️”

The actress, best known for her role in ‘The Big Bang Theory,’ shared an update on June 21 in a video where she discussed her progress. She said: “I feel better. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me. Still some traffic jam. I was a little less exhausted yesterday, which was a nice treat not having to sleep as much as I wanted to sleep.”
