Dancing With the Stars champion and wildlife activist Bindi Irwin has unveiled a new look.
Irwin celebrated her 24th birthday on July 24 and posted a series of photos she credited to her younger brother and photographer Robert Irwin. The outing included Bindi, her husband Chandler Powell, daughter Grace Warrior, brother Robert and mother Terri. It also featured stunning views and a beautiful birthday cake.
In the photos, Bindi debuted a new hairstyle, much shorter than in recent years.
Bindi posted a lengthy caption alongside the series of photos.
“The last year has been filled with tremendous growth, unpredictable/challenging times and most importantly, love beyond my wildest dreams,” she wrote. “Without them realizing it, my sweet family has given me the greatest gifts every day this year through their extraordinary deeds.”
She added: “My in-laws, the gift of no distance getting in the way of family bonds. My mom, the gift of endurance, strength and a shoulder to lean on. My brother, the gift of joie de vivre and a reminder not to care about the little things. My husband, the gift of unwavering support and unending kindness.”
She said her daughter gave her “the gift of finding beauty in all things and running toward happiness.”
Fans took advantage of the comments to let Bindi know how much they loved her new haircut too.
Powell also took to Instagram to pay a sweet tribute to his wife.
“Happy Birthday to the most incredible person I know,” he wrote. “You spend every day of the year thinking of others, I’m so happy that today is about celebrating you. You are the kindest person, caring mom, loving wife and my best friend. I love you (and so does Grace).”
Bindi also enjoyed a tribute from her brother Robert.
“Happy Birthday to that legend of a sister!” he wrote. “Thank you for being someone I can always count on for advice, support, kindness and a good laugh. Bindi you are an absolute boss! Hard worker, great sister and such a wonderful mother for Grace, she’s a happy child! Loving You.”
The “Crikey! The It’s the Irwins star previously shared a video of her 13-month-old daughter talking to her father.
In the video, which Irwin posted to Instagram, the parents smile for the camera while Grace walks around saying “Dada.”
“My heart when Grace says ‘Dada’,” Irwin wrote for the caption.
Fans loved the video and took to the comments section to wish the family well.
“Your family is amazing and must love this Australian-American unit too!” one person wrote.
Another person commented, “Grace is just so precious and beautiful.”
Season 31 of Dancing With the Stars premieres on Disney+ on Monday, September 19, 2022. Derek Hough, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba will all return, along with Tyra Banks and new co-host Alfonso Ribeiro.
