Actually, the comedian was supposed to moderate the new music show “All Together Now”. But Luke Mockridge canceled all planned shows for the coming year. Now it is clear who will stand in for him.
In August, Sat 1 announced that Luke Mockridge will lead through a new music format that will be launched on the station next year. “‘All Together Now’ is fast, full of joie de vivre and full of music and therefore fits perfectly with an entertainer like him,” said station director Daniel Rosemann at the time.
Only a few weeks later, however, Mockridge announced on his Instagram account that he would take a longer break because of “the current reporting” about himself. “For this reason I cannot and will not moderate the Sat.1 shows that have already been announced for the coming year,” wrote the 32-year-old.
With this, he presented his house transmitter with a challenge, because replacements had to be made quickly for the upcoming production. It has now been found: Melissa Khalaj will moderate “All Together Now”. “It will be a dream come true for me,” said the 32-year-old happily in her Instagram story and cheered: “I think it will just be the most beautiful show in the world!”
Melissa Khalaj is known, among other things, from “Celebrity Big Brother – The Late Night Show”, which she has been presenting with Jochen Bendel for several years. She has also been a presenter for “The Voice Kids” since 2019.
The 32-year-old reported directly from the new studio and explained that production would start in a few days. When asked by spot on news, station spokesman Christoph Körfer had already confirmed that “All Together Now” should be broadcast on Sat.1 in the first half of 2022.
The show has been successful in several countries for a number of years. Musicians are given 100 seconds to perform in front of a jury of 100 people. The more jury members stand up and sing along, the more points there are.
