Longtime Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba got her hands on a new product and seemed excited to try it — but it doesn’t seem like things are going as planned.
Inaba shared an Instagram roll on January 19, 2023 after using NYX’s “The Brow Glue.”
“Put it on your forehead! Introducing NYX Professional Makeup’s first instant brow styler,” reads the product description on the NYX website. “The unique formula is dandruff resistant and offers up to 16 hours of non-stick hold. Plus, it’s quick and easy to apply: simply use the included round bristle spoolie to brush and style your brows in place for a lifted look that actually stays put.”
The site also provides step-by-step instructions on how to use the product, which promises “long-lasting brow looks.” However, the process didn’t seem to work for Inaba, who appeared to have less hair in the process.
Here’s what you need to know:
Inaba didn’t explain the process she went through with the product, but she clearly wasn’t happy with the results.
“Just got my brows done with this new product,” Inaba wrote on a reel shared to her Instagram feed. She covered the top of her face with her hand as if to build suspense as the Beatles’ song “Help!” accompanied the Post.
“And it’s supposed to tame your eyebrows,” Inaba wrote, before taking her hand away and showing fans her results. Her eyebrows appeared a bit messy with hair going in different directions and some areas seemed to have less hair than others in each of her brows.
“What went wrong here?” She asked and encouraged people to share their suggestions on how she could correct her eyebrows.
Inaba ended the video by throwing the tube of NYX Eyebrow Glue in the trash.
It wasn’t long before fans started commenting on Inaba’s post, suggesting various ways she could help correct her eyebrows.
“What did you do!?? Just brush them up with brow gel and fill them in,” one person suggested.
“Use a brow brush, fill in with a brow pencil,” wrote another.
“Take a break…leave the brows alone for 30 days…looks like heavy over plucking or eyebrow hair removal…your beauty is still going strong!” You radiate so much love and happiness,” read a third comment.
“Don’t worry they will grow back lol,” said a fourth Instagram user.
“Everything will be fine,” added another encouraging social media user.
Other suggestions included growing out her bangs to cover her eyebrows and getting microblading done. The DWTS judge appears to be in good spirits despite her eyebrow mishap as she smiled in the video she posted. For now, she’s moved her bangs down a bit to cover her eyebrows, but maybe she’ll take the advice of some of her fans in the coming days.
