The British monarch had to spend a night in the hospital in mid-October. What exactly was missing was not known. The palace announced that it was purely a precautionary measure. Doctors ordered the Queen to take a break of several weeks. She is only allowed to do “light” work at the desk, travel is taboo.

The 95-year-old actually wanted to be fit again for Remembrance Day last Sunday. This day is one of the most important public holidays in Great Britain and is a must for the British royals. But due to a sprained back, the monarch had to cancel her participation in the memorial service.

Two days later, the Queen was also represented at an appointment because she could not attend herself. Concern for Queen Elizabeth II grew. But now fans of the Royal Family can breathe a sigh of relief. For the first time she has shown herself in public again.

A message from the palace said the 95-year-old monarch had received the officer on the occasion of his departure at Windsor Castle. The Queen’s back problems, of which the palace still spoke on Sunday, were not noticeable on the recordings of the audience.
