Beyonce has released four remixes of “Break My Soul” with, Terry Hunter, Honey Dijon and Nita Aviance

Beyonce, who is currently basking in the success of her seventh solo album Renaissance, isn’t done serving her fans when she releases The Queens Remix of her hit single Break My Soul on Friday, August 5th “ surprised. Beyonce decided to hire pop queen Madonna for her latest release, which quickly sent the internet into a meltdown. This was also Beyonce and Madonna’s first-ever collaboration.

Queen Bey’s newly released single also made headlines as fans noted that the Grammy-winning crooner’s name dropped a number of black icons including Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Solange Knowles, Aaliyah, Rosetta Tharpe, Santigold, Bessie Smith and a few others. Beyonce may have collaborated with Madonna on the new album, but the latter didn’t actually record any new vocals. Madonna’s vocals from her 1990 hit single “Vogue” were sampled into the song. The remix of the disco-inspired single “Break My Soul” features the names of iconic black women such as Lauryn Hill, Roberta Flack, Toni, Janet, Tierra Whack. Missy, Diana, Grace Jones, Aretha, Anita, Grace Jones and Madonna also call her “Queen Mother Madonna”.

Social media users were more than enthusiastic about the new remix. Many took to Twitter to talk about it. “Holy shit??!!? This was so random, but I’ll eat it up anyway. two icons of pop,” said one delighted fan, while another posted, “Two of the most creative and daring artists in history come together in one frigging song.” The next shared, “Beyoncé just got a break my soul VOGUE -Remix released with Madonna. and she called nicki & rihanna? We know who she’s doing this for.”

Meanwhile, one person claimed, “Mind you, they said Beyoncé no longer associates with Nicki while giving mom a salute in her song. I know that crush over there screaming.” One fan said, “Half the artist mentions don’t even live,” referring to the name drops in the remix. Another user said, “And nothing for Cardi, Megan, and Normani.” One said, “I thought you guys said she was going to shoot Nicki? it’s very quiet now.” And another added: “It’s a BANGER!!!
