LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Affleck is aiming for nothing but gold with his latest film, Air, which has just been set as its official theatrical release date of Wednesday, April 5, 2023. After receiving a significant theatrical run in theaters around the world, the film will then be seated on Prime Video’s bench where it can be streamed. Affleck co-wrote the film with Matt Damon, marking the film as the debut from Artists Equity, the Dream Team’s production company.
“Matt and I are very excited for audiences to see ‘Air’ and proud that it is Artists Equity’s first release,” Ben Affleck said in a press release. He adds, “The film was an extraordinary experience in which we had the privilege of working with some of the best cast and crew in the business, all of whom brought passion, tenacity and creativity to the collective effort to recreate a remarkable and ambitious story.”

Damon plays Nike executive Sonny Vaccaro and is the star of the show, and Ben Affleck plays Nike co-founder Phil Knight. The couple went to great lengths to find the ideal cast for their latest film, which features a cast that includes Jason Bateman as Rob Strasser, Chris Messina as David Falk, Marlon Wayans as George Raveling, Viola Davis as Deloris Jordan and Matthew Maher as Peter Moore, Chris Tucker as Howard White, Julius Tennon as James Jordan and Gustaf Skarsgård as Horst Dassler.
