ANTHONY JOSHUA has received another coaching offer as he seeks to rebuild his team.

The heavyweight is taking a break from boxing after back-to-back point losses to Oleksandr Usyk.

After his most recent loss in August, AJ revealed he will be looking to test a different set of coaches, having recently worked with Robert Garcia.

Joshua, 33, told Sporting News: “So in relation to Robert Garcia, thanks for asking, I respect him a lot. He’s a really good man, a really good coach.

“Will I work with him again? Yes I would, but what I also said to Robert and the team is that I want to be a free spirit.

“You know I locked myself in with a coach for 11 years and now I just feel like I just want to learn as much as I can.

WHY PRICE

Dillian Whyte is willing to take PAY CUT to secure the fight for the Anthony Joshua trilogy

“Honestly, if you know me intimately, which a lot of viewers probably don’t know, it’s not about the coach, it’s about the fighter, what he’s got up here [in his head].

“So I feel like I’m in a position where I can work with anyone. So, yeah, who knows what’s going to happen next year.”

Great boxer Roy Jones Jr., 53, offered Joshua his services and the couple were able to agree a trial period together.

And now renowned British trainer Shane McGuigan, who used to work with former champion David Haye, has thrown his name in the hat.

McGuigan told SecondsOut: “It’s Anthony Joshua of course, I’d like that.

“Sporty guy, he still has a lot to learn and he needs to regain faith in himself.

“Real belief in yourself, a few good wins, and then rolling the dice again.”
