LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cristina Rae is a singer who appeared on Season 15 of America’s Got Talent. She is a single mother and had gone through hardships, including experiencing homelessness. She returned for America’s Got Talent: All-Stars 2023 hoping to go all the way.

After finishing third in season 15, Cristina was eliminated in the prelims after singing a rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Hold My Hand.” The song got an amazing reaction from the audience and some of the judges. While both Simon Cowell and Heidi Klum thought Cristina deserved to qualify, Howie Mandel had claimed she might have needed a little more to stay on the NBC show.

Cristina is known for her incredible range and ability to pull off challenging vocal sequences. The performance of “Hold My Hand” drew a standing ovation from the studio audience, while both Simon Cowell and Heidi Klum were impressed.

Heidi, who gave Cristina the golden buzzer last time out, claimed she didn’t need one to qualify this time. Simon claimed Cristina deserved to be in the final: “You are sensational and you deserve to be in the final. I love you.”

Of course, Howie disagreed. Mandel told several competitors that because they were on AGT: All Stars and not AGT, they had to do better. Howie claimed that while he was impressed, he didn’t think Cristina had done enough to qualify. Qualification depended on the votes of the fans and Howie was right.

Cristina didn’t qualify in the end but was just grateful for the entire show and the judges. Before her performance, Christina revealed that before AGT, she and her young son lived in a car. But when Heidi Klum hit the golden buzzer at her first audition, her life changed. Now Christina is returning to the stage and aspires to become a household name in homes around the world.

Episode 4 of “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” was released on Monday, January 23 at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
