Sports journalist Leah Vann couldn’t hold back her emotions after hearing ‘Easy On Me’ when she tweeted: “It’s Thursday night. Adele drops a single. You cry into your wine even though your love life (or the lack of it) is not a drama. But you’re kind of wondering – who can I break the heart of at this moment? My soccer teams? My third grade crush who’s probably getting married? “

“The new Adele single explains to her young son why she left his father, which is far sadder than anything she’s ever written before. And it’s so good,” tweeted Molly Knight.
