The holiday season is upon us, which for most people means the outside temperature has dropped, forcing us inside. That gives us enough time to catch up on some shows over the next few weeks. If you’re looking for something to check out, you’ve come to the right place. Here are three Netflix shows to get you through the Thanksgiving break.

The world mourned earlier this year when Queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96. This reportedly sent showrunners for the Netflix series The crown crawl to make adjustments to the show. The crown follows a fictionalized version of the life of the royals starting in the 1940s and as of season 5 they have reached the years involving Princess Diana. For those obsessed with the British monarchy, The crown serves as a great way to see how things (mostly) went.

If you watched Dark, You know how much work showrunners Boran bo Odar and Jantje Friese put into creating the thrilling mystery. Now the duo are back with a whole new story. 1899 follows the passengers on a ship called Kerberos that travels from Europe to New York. Things start to get a little crazy when they stumble upon the Prometheus, a ship that disappeared four months earlier. 1899 is not a show to sit idly by in the background and definitely needs your full attention, but if you’re in the mood for mystery and are looking for a Netflix show to binge on, this is a perfect choice.

1899 streams exclusively on Netflix.

There’s a reality TV show for almost everything these days. But remember when everyone went crazy for Marie Kondo’s Sparkling joy on netflix? It was basically ASMR for people who love to watch others organize themselves. Watch your manners lies in a similar direction.

The Netflix synopsis reads: “Ever wondered how to … elegantly slice a banana?” Watch your manners follows world-renowned etiquette teacher Sara Jane Ho as she helps her students become their best selves and put others at ease using the language of manners and etiquette. Get ready to laugh, cry and learn a thing or two as Sara transforms the lives of her students and helps them gain the confidence to shine in any situation – starting with a sensible afternoon tea. Pinkies in or out?”

Watch your manners streams exclusively on Netflix.
