LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The nominations for the 95th Academy Awards are finally in and “Everything Everywhere All at Once” has received the most recognition at this year’s event. On the other hand, “The Banshees of Inisherin” and “All Quiet on the Western Front” followed with 9 nominations each. “Tár” and “Top Gun: Maverick” with six each, and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” with five.
EEAAO exceeded all expectations, earning 11 nominations including Best Picture and Best Director (The Daniels). Other films in the best pictures list include Avatar: The Way of Water, The Banshees of Inisherin, Elvis, The Fabelmans, TAR, Top Gun: Maverick, Triangle . of Sadness’ and ‘Women Talking’. Meanwhile, Brendan Fraser (“The Whale”), Paul Mescal (“Aftersun”), Colin Farrell (“The Banshees of Inisherin”), Bill Nighy (“Living”) and Austin Butler (“Elvis”) will battle each other for the award for best actor.
