Dancing With the Stars professional dancers Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov served as choreographers for season 17 of So You Think You Can Dance.

“So honored to have been a part of @danceonfox,” Karagach wrote on Instagram. Tune in tomorrow at 9pm to see our choreography come to life! Loved every minute and can’t wait to share more.”

Other choreographers for the June 22, 2022 episode are Jaci Royal, Dominique Kelley, Talia Favia, Mel Charlot, Teddy Forance and Bryan Friedman.

Karagach danced for the first time since recovering from an ankle injury sustained while on the Dancing With the Stars tour. She and Pashkov performed at a charity event for No Kid Hungry.

“It was our first performance since my broken ankle and I’m so happy to be back on the dance floor,” she wrote on Instagram after the performance. “I’ll definitely give you guys a glimpse of how it went shortly. It was great to have the opportunity to reconnect with friends and amazing dancers.”

She added: “Big thanks to @sabrinamanzi_sm for letting me borrow your fringe outfit at the last minute!! You are awesome.”

Dancing With the Stars professional dancers Emma Slater, Sasha Farber, Artem Chigvintsev, Britt Stewart and Gleb Savchenko were at a separate benefit event for the BMA Foundation, where they performed several times, including a group number.

The BMA Foundation is a Kansas City foundation that works for both children’s charities and animal welfare, according to the website.

Glee star Matthew Morrison was one of the judges on the Season 17 So You Think You Can Dance panel, but he left the show amid a minor controversy.

In a statement released to the press, Morrison shared that he had to leave the competition show’s 17th season.

“Having the opportunity to judge ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ was an incredible honor,” he shared. “It is therefore my deepest regret to announce that I will be leaving the show. After filming the audition rounds for the show and completing the selection of the 12 finalists, I did not follow the competition’s production protocols, which prevented me from judging the competition fairly.”

He added, “I cannot apologize enough to everyone involved and I will be watching with you all in what I believe will be one of the best seasons yet.”

JoJo Siwa and Stephen “tWitch” Boss are both still on the judging panel, and now they’re joined by Dancing With the Stars alumnus Leah Remini.

Ezra Sosa, who was part of the professional dancer roster on season 30 of “Dancing With the Stars” and was previously a finalist on “So You Think You Can Dance,” appeared in the show’s 17th season.

The dancer was seen around the 13-second mark in the season trailer dancing alongside a contestant.

He helped one of the dancers with her audition.

Dancing With the Stars returns to a new home in Fall 2022. The show will now air live exclusively on Disney+ instead of ABC.
