Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s bizarre video shows a CGI model of a drone attack on Donald Trump, who is playing golf with his political allies in Miami
The Supreme Leader of Iran posted a video on his personal website threatening to kill former US President Donald Trump.
It was uploaded to Ali Khamenei’s website under the heading “Vengeance is Inevitable” and allegedly in retaliation for the murder of Qasem Soleimani, the former commander of Iran’s secret military operations abroad.
The clip uses video game-style animation to show an armed remote-controlled vehicle entering the former US President’s golf club and laser “painting” Mr. Trump’s golf party while a rocket-firing UAV flies overhead.
Meanwhile, a hacker gains access to a cell phone owned by Republican Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, who is playing golf with Trump, and sends the message “Solemani’s murderer and whoever gave the order will pay the price.”
Soleimani was killed in a US drone attack near Baghdad International Airport in January 2020.
He was one of ten people traveling towards downtown Baghdad in two cars when one of three US MQ-9 Reaper drones circling overhead fired a missile and destroyed both vehicles.

Little was left of the vehicles and their occupants, but Soleimani’s body was identified by a ring he was wearing at the time.
The attack triggered attacks on the American embassy in Baghdad by supporters of an Iran-backed Iraqi Shiite militia and the attack on K-1 Air Base in 2019.
The US Department of Defense reported that the attack was carried out “on the orders of the President” and alleged that Soleimani had planned further attacks on American facilities and personnel.
At the time, US officials compared the assassination to Operation Vengeance in World War II, when American pilots shot down a plane carrying Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto.
At a recent meeting with Soleimani’s family, Ayatollah Khamenei pledged retribution against the murderers of the man he referred to as “the martyr Soleimani”, saying, “Martyr Soleimani is permanent, he lives forever.
“Those who martyred him – Trump and his ilk – are in the trash can and will be among those forgotten in history, but he lives forever.
“The martyr is like that and his enemies will be lost and buried. Of course, God willing, they will be lost and buried after paying the price of their worldliness.”
Numerous questions had been raised internationally about Soleimani’s murder, with UN official Agnès Callamard calling the operation “illegal” and more than one commentator warning that Soleimani’s death could be the spark that ultimately ignited World War III.
