Observe: A pair of escaped alpacas wander through the Californian city

Witnesses in Oakland snapped photos and videos as the two alpacas, named Boogie and Woogie, wandered around areas like Knowland Park, an Interstate 580 underpass, and several residential streets.

Jan. 11 (News) – A father-son couple escaped from their owner’s home and wandered through several neighborhoods of a California city for more than two hours.

The California Highway Patrol and local animal rights officers caught the alpacas and gave them to their owner, Tobias Riday.

Riday said the alpacas escaped through an unlocked back gate.
