Man taken to hospital after ‘disruption’ in Glasgow

A man was taken to hospital after a disturbance in the Maryhill area of ​​Glasgow on Thursday.

The disruption occurred at around 5.40pm on Thursday 13 January on Glasgow’s Maryhill Road.

After the incident, a man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment of injuries.

A witness said police tape covered a closed door at a property near the Esso in Maryhill.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We were made aware of a disruption on Maryhill Road in Glasgow at around 5.40pm on Thursday 13 January.

“A man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the incident and the investigation is ongoing.”
