Lala Kent has a lot to say about her relationship with ex-fiancé Randall Emmett.

During a Jan. 13 appearance on the Juicy Scoop podcast with Heather McDonald, the “Vanderpump Rules” star admitted things changed between her and Emmett after their daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett, was born in March 2021. Kent revealed this after McDonald said that he believed Kent had “second thoughts” about marrying Emmett.

“When Ocean was born, there were so many cracks that I just couldn’t ignore,” Kent admitted on the podcast of her relationship with Emmett. “I think when you have a baby you deal with being hypersensitive to everything that’s going on around you and you see the people who really are who live in a house. It was just so different.”

Kent continued, “We had Ocean because I felt like we were in a good place. After her birth, things just changed. He wasn’t the same person. Maybe he was, and I really saw it now, but I just wasn’t into it that much anymore. And I don’t think he was either. I think he liked the thought of me more than what I really am.”

In October 2021, Kent split from Emmett after he was spotted with two mystery women in Nashville, Tennessee, fueling further cheating rumors. The two had been together since 2016.

In an interview with People published on Dec. 24, 2021, Kent opened up about her new life as a single mom, explaining it as a “strength that.” [she] can’t describe.”

Though it’s only been a few months since Kent and Emmett broke up, on a Jan. 5 episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala, Kent revealed that she slipped into another man’s DMs over the holidays.

“I’ve had an amazing vacation and slipped into a man’s DM for the first time since I was about 23,” Kent revealed during the episode. “Yes, I have.”

Kent continued, “You know, it felt weird because I don’t slide in the DM. I slipped into DM when I was drunk and young, but I didn’t slip into DM and I don’t even know if I have game left.

Viewers can watch brand new episodes of “Vanderpump Rules” every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. Eastern Time on Bravo.
