The fourth installment in the Hotel Transylvania series is an absolutely delightful watch. There is something for everyone, no matter what age!

The film revolves around the Dracula (or Drac), his daughter Mavis and son-in-law Johnathan (or Johny) alongside the rest of the gang at the hotel. After careful thought, Drac decides it’s time for him to retire and hand his precious hotel over to Mavis.

Unfortunately, Mavis overhears his conversation with Ericka and relays this information to Johnny, who is overly excited. When Drac finds out about this, he immediately changes his mind. His understanding is that at some point Johnny will make major changes to his most prized possession, the hotel. Instead of handing over the keys, Drac says he can’t part ways with Johnny from the hotel because of a monster law; Johnny doesn’t fall into that category.

After an accidental switch that turns Drac into a human and Johnny into a monster, the near-death experience film follows a journey to find the crystal that powers the magical weapon!

One of the heartiest moments in the film comes when Drac realizes he was wrong to judge Johnny all along. In fact, he even compares Johnny to a marshmallow, someone who is soft inside, although it doesn’t look like it at first glance!

All in all, the fourth part is just as entertaining as the previous 3 movies, so don’t miss it!

Hotel Transylvania: Transformania is available to stream on Amazon Prime.
